Marianne is a thirty some-thing beaming with ideas. After receiving her degree from "L’Ecole Nationale Supérieur des Arts Décoratifs" (ENSAD) in 1997 she joined the celebrated florist Christian Tortu and quickly became his first assistant. She designed such successful vases as Tupi, Diabomo, O for him. She has conceived windows and decoration for well-known international marks (jeweller Boucheron, Lolita Lempicka, Marshall Field, BHV…) and in 2001, creatively collaborated on a line of gowns made of fresh flowers by Agatha Ruiz De La Prada.
Marianne was born in Côte d’Or and has her feet well anchored on the ground, finding her inspiration from the rings of water to the clouds. Her preferred material is glass. “It’s magic, it can be luminous, transparent, ephemeral, the colours are infinite.” Parallel to her collaborations (creation of vases Kasper and Goulue distributed by Roche-Bobois), she continues to design amusing vases stamped in a true sculptural style.
Always in search of this authenticity, Marianne has created her own brand, Marianne Guedin. “What attracts me is that I can be in control of all stages of the creation and production with all the people concerned.” Today she collaborates with friends in the promotion and creation of her work. Just like family, “A kind of ‘Friends’ set in the design world. Jérome Gauthier, Jean-Marc Gady, Noé Duchaufour Lawrance, and Soline d’Aboville brilliantly bring life to her first line.
Our team invites you to discover her creations, which can be found in numerous boutiques both in

The venue is concealed behind opaque doors and is only known to the initiated, as KUBE preferred the calm of a discreet back street to the buzz of the famous boulevards. The building itself is by no means futuristic and indeed has a classic 19th century façade, which conceals its experimental concept and high-tech services.
